One element of their day to day operations is the management of the contracts that the Trust has in place with their suppliers how are delivering goods and service to the organisation. As the Trust is a large Acute Trust the number of contracts and suppliers is enormous and there’s a great deal of data to manage and have selected Target’s contract management systems to help remove spreadsheets and deliver automation.
Rob Webb, Head of Procurement for Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust said, “The team at Target have helped us save a great deal of time through automating our contracts information management. This has resulted in better utilisation of our team in managing large procurement transformation initiatives that have delivered significant savings through more time to implement and deliver effective supplier relationship management programmes, something we would have not been able to do if we had manual contract information & reporting systems.”
The team at Target have also been exploring how other manual information management, mostly spreadsheet based, can be migrated to modern Intranet applications to improve data management in other areas.
