Kettering General Hospital Foundation Trust
Kettering General Hospital Foundation Trust provides acute hospital services for the people of North Northamptonshire and beyond. They were authorised to operate as a foundation trust in November 2008 and since then have developed a public membership of over 5000 people.

The Procurement Team at the Trust were using an outdated Access Database to manage their contracts and suppliers. The team were looking to bring in a system that would automatically alert them to contracts that needed review or were expiring and provided user permissions to control edit and read only access.
Speaking with another NHS Trust, Kettering General Hospital were introduced to Target Information Systems Accord Contract Management system.
Accord was already showing to improve contract life-cycle management in the other Trust as well as control contract types and enable the team to see overall activities for Procurement. Accord now allows the procurement department at Kettering General Hospital to keep on top of contracts by helping them better store and manage their contracts and supplier data, while also ensuring everything goes through a standard process. The system is improving visibility throughout the wider organisation departments to help drive savings through improved data management.
